With international investors re-considering Italy for investments in renewable energy, German Greencells Group steps up its activities in the country. Greencells announces the appointment of well-known industry figure Giuseppe Sofia as General Manager Italy and has entered a joint venture with established Italian partner Renewable Consulting. The joint venture will develop photovoltaic power plants with a high focus on environmental impact and social responsibility, creating a green virtuous cycle of drawing investments into Italy, furthering local job opportunities, reducing CO2 emissions, increasing welfare of farmers and driving co-usage with agricultural production.
