Revitalization of a former mining area thanks to Greencells´ St. Charles PV-plant in Petite-Rosselle, France, developed with financial participation of the local community. It was a pleasure to welcome the Mayor of the municipality Petite-Rosselle, Éric Federspiel, and David Lindemann, Head of the Saar Region State Office and Regional Commissioner for European Affairs to the commissioning ceremony with Greencells CEO Andreas Hoffmann. An example of successful German-French cooperation for renewable energy deployment with stakeholders from French Lorraine and neighboring German Saar region involved.
